Essays, short stories, think pieces and personal reflections from a man stuck between two worlds.
Life as a Hyphen
Life as a Hyphen is a collection of essays, short stories, and personal reflections written from the vantage point of a man stuck between two worlds — America and The Gambia, the diaspora and the home country, the trained professional and the returning son.
The book draws on more than a decade of writing on healthcare, entrepreneurship, identity, and the cost of building anything meaningful in either context. It is the through-line beneath the keynotes: the same voice, the same questions, given room to answer in long form.
